Day 0.5. -S

Spoilers for Blue Beatle ahead. There will be a photo when they're over!

So, they had some free spirits on the flight. I got me some Vodka, and that was before the meals! They had some interesting movies. The first one I chose to watch was the Blue Beetle movie, and so far it feels kinda like Spider-man, but still very different. Both follow a younger person trying to find his way in the world, getting powers, and not having the most common sense. It's really fun and kinda relatable. I would like the main character to stop flirting tho, he's doing the "dumb in love" things. I like the venom kinda look the scarab has when he transforms tho.
Person: "About to fire weapons at him"
Jamie: "Hey, calm down"
So much property damage...
"You're becoming symbiotic." Great, I could have figured that out!
Aaaaand, introducing a legacy. Fun.
"Batman's a facist." Lolz.
Ughhh, I didn't care about interpersonal relationships, tell me more about the magic hero or stuff. I don't want all this emotion stuff.
"This thing is from outer space." Yeah, I kinda figured. Thanks for confirming.
I got another Vodka. :D
"Oh my God I'm bullet proof!" Lolz, I'm glad you are.
Not even trying CPR? Come on...
I'm so mad that the dad died, but I guess that had to try and emulate Spider-Man more somehow.
I like the smart uncle, he's fun.
"We'll burn that bridge when we get to it." Sounds good to me.
I really like the Nana now.
"Bug." Wow, what a great observation. Bet no one else could have thought of and said that, guard 4.
Jamie: "I don't kill!"
His family, after stepping on someone and killing them: "20 points!"
Indiana Jones reference, because obviously.
Jaime, having an existential crisis while dying. Not my favorite part, kinda tacky in my opinion.
Not fully convinced that it wasn't just manipulation my the scarab to get Jaime to accept him.
Awww, scientist go good then go dead.
I like Khaji-da speaking Spanish, that's nice.
I like the ending for powerful weapon man.
Would you believe it? Bug wins! 
The crying at the end is a good touch, like it, good full circle and embracing everyone's emotions.
And, planting new plants as a start of a new beginning.


Aaaaand, nap time!
Lol, jk. Dad tried to nap and I decided to watch DC super pets. Some of the enemies had the powers of marvel heroes which is fun. Flight was good.

Was not happy at Amsterdam airport. Didn't have food options that we (me and Volren) really wanted in our terminal and it took a while for us to realize, and lots and lots of walking. Got hangry. Am not happy. Considering more vodka. The trip can only go better from here.

    I did think dinner, while I liked it, was unfair. The meat eater got Indian style butter chicken while the others got manicotti.

Day Zero, Oregon to Palshi

 It's a different type of Palshi Cruise. There might not be boats, but it will end in Palshi, and so I think that counts. We have managed to deal with Serriff bringing a knife to the TSA security check once again (completely unintentional each time, but it's feeling like a tradition!) and deal with a lost passport, not going to say who lost it, only that we all have ours now. To be clear, if someone had lost a passport, the rest of us would still go. Thankfully we didn't need to vote anyone off the island. Yet. After getting through security, we got breakfast at Jamba Juice and topped it off with Tillamook ice cream. The twins got waffles from Jamba (who knew?) and made unhealthy but tasty ice cream sandwiches. New Delhi Day 2 Time for REAL tourism

We spent the day with three individuals who have defined modern India. These three men were Mahatma Gandhi, Shah Jahan and Emperor Ashoka, the Great. Mahatma Gandhi lived in the mid 20th century, and was instrumental in India's independence from British rule. Most people know Shah Jahan for the exquisite white marble tomb he built for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. He was a great military ruler and city planner, building many castles and edifices to worship God and literally defined the layout of many major Indian cities today. The last and possibly the most influential lived thousands of years ago, and preached tolerance, peace and acceptance. One of the symbols of a united India is the seal of four lions sitting back to back to back, which was created by Ashoka the Great the the 3rd century b.c.e.  We started the day off visiting a beautiful red sandstone mosque built in the mid 1600s by Shah Jahan. From OC to Disney and Back; Day One : A New Beginning :)

After today, everything will be better. The day started bright and early (Sarah and Kat insist it was too early) and the first hours of the morning were quiet. Dad and I enjoyed an amazing swim with the swimsuits that we'd packed. When we returned home, we made sure those swimsuits went into the dryer, to dry of so that we could pack them later. Then came time to awaken any sleeping Sarahs to get up for the day.             Once everyone was awake, and someone, like Dad, had done their repacking, we loaded everything we could think of into the car. We had a carry-on for each member of the family and then some. We then happily drove to Clackamas Town Center, to park the car and catch the Green Line MAX Train to Gateway Transit Center.
